CMRPC’s informal Brownfields Advisory Committee (BFAC) is composed of municipal officials from brownfields-impacted communities, representatives from environmental and economic development organizations, and staff from key state agencies. The primary goals of the committee are 1) to serve as a regional roundtable for brownfields information, and 2) to provide feedback on and guidance for CMRPC’s brownfields efforts, including its site assessment program. Meetings are held on a roughly quarterly basis while brownfields plans and assessment projects are ongoing; otherwise they are less frequent.
BFAC meetings are open to the public. All meeting agendas are posted on CMRPC’s website.
