PANEL PRESENTATION
The purpose of the Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) is to identify the multi-modal transportation needs and challenges in the region. The needs are then screened and prioritized to develop a financially constrained plan based on the funding anticipated to the region over the next 25 years. The Quarterly Meeting is an opportunity to actively participate in all aspects of the LRTP, including the most pressing transportation-related needs and challenges. It also provides an opportunity to identify the needs for potential studies, projects, initiatives and programs. Ultimately, the LRTP includes major infrastructure projects related to highway, bridges, regional transit, various transportation programs, complete streets, bike/ped improvements and ongoing infrastructure maintenance.
