Public Outreach
The CMMPO is responsible for carrying out the continuing, cooperative, and comprehensive transportation planning process in the Central Massachusetts region that results in plans and programs that consider all transportation modes and supports metropolitan community development and social goals. The purpose of the Public Participation Plan (PPP) is to ensure early and continuing opportunities for the public to express their views on transportation issues and to promote active participation in the transportation decision-making process. We encourage you to take look at the 2022 CMMPO Public Participation Plan draft and share your comments, insights, and recommendations that can help the CMMPO expand the outreach within our communities and guarantee a meaningful engagement throughtout the region's transportation planning process.
