Regionalization Projects

Exploring Regionalization

From animal control to accounting, regionalization can improve services and even create economies of scale that facilitate cost savings. If you’ve selected Regionalization as a Community Compact Best Practice, grant funds could be used to explore opportunities. CMRPC may also be able to tap into District Local Technical Assistance (DLTA) funds based on our current workload.

Have a Problem – We Can Help

CMRPC Regional Collaboration staff are always willing to research opportunities for regionalization efforts. In the past, CMRPC has facilitated formation of shared professional staffing positions, including shared planners, shared inspectional/building commissioners, human resources staffing, and more.

Municipalities and governmental entities are allowed to contract directly with CMRPC in accordance with MGL Chapter 30B Sections 1 (b) (3) and (b) (9). Contract with CMRPC, contact CMRPC’s Executive Director, Janet Pierce at jpierce@cmrpc.org
