Fuel

Diesel, Fuel Oil, Unleaded Gasoline, & Propane

Every year, CMRPC, on behalf of the communities that opt-into the program, receive fueling services for their municipal buildings and infrastructure. This joint fuel procurement benefits the communities in several ways, including potential cost savings to participating towns.

Annual Schedule

A region-wide survey that is released in March, determines how much diesel, fuel oil, unleaded gasoline, and propane is needed by each participating town. In March, CMRPC develops the Invitation for Bids (IFB) on required quantities of fuel and awards the blanket contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Towns opt in or out of the program in June. Then, participating towns execute contracts to work directly with their vendors.
