Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Charging Infrastructure
About
The transportation sector makes up about 37% of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in Massachusetts.
In August 2022, Massachusetts passed An Act Driving Clean Energy and Offshore Wind House Bill. This bill addresses climate change and to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Some of these steps include increasing EV rebates and expanding access to EVs, increasing the number of EV chargers, and electrifying public transit.
