Digital Equity Planning
CMRPC is a pre-qualified Digital Equity Planning consultant and can provide services to municipalities in the region. CMRPC strongly encourages municipalities to participate in digital equity planning.
Food & Agriculture
CMRPC incorporates food and agriculture planning into existing plans and collaborates with farmers and stakeholders to find solutions to challenges with agriculture in the region.
Healthy Aging
CMRPC Regional Services staff are involved in healthy aging initiatives ranging from the regional age- and dementia-friendly designation and plan, developing digital equity plans, and digital literacy programs.
Procurement
CMRPC leverages regional buying power to support our communities in cost effective solutions to purchasing goods and services, including fuel, accounting services, municipal auctions, and more.
Public Health
Since beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, CMRPC has been instrumental in the region, providing resources and regionalization coordination for local Public Health Departments, and local Boards of Health. CMRPC works with regional public health organizations to find solutions to staffing and training for public health professionals.
Regionalization Projects
From animal control to accounting, regionalization can improve services and even create economies of scale that facilitate cost savings. If you’ve selected Regionalization as a Community Compact Best Practice, grant funds could be used to explore opportunities. CMRPC may also be able to tap into District Local Technical Assistance (DLTA) funds based on our current workload.
Regional Dialogues
CMRPC’s Regional Services hosts regular meetings and conversations with municipal leaders, elected officials, and staff. Particular discussion topics vary; these meetings are designed to be informative and to allow for sharing of current municipal activities in the region.
Regional Housing Coordinator
CMRPC hosts the Regional Housing Coordinator Program, an essential initiative to support local housing strategies. Our skilled Regional Housing Coordinator is crucial in this effort by providing expertise and capacity to help towns develop and implement their housing production plans.
