The Town of Mendon, Massachusetts was incorporated in 1667, making Mendon the 2nd oldest town in Worcester County. Mendon is part of the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor, an early center of the industrial revolution in the United States. The Town is primarily a cozy bedroom community, that has solid commercial development along the Route 16 Cooridor, including Southwick’s Zoo.
